The Dia Art Foundation, which funded the creation of the Lightning Field, and funds it's ongoing operation and upkeep offers visitors the opportunity from June to November each year , for groups of one to three people. Visit duration is from one to three days. Visitors are met in Quemado New Mexico and taken to the Field, fed and provided with special viewing accomodation at the Lightning Field. A $30 donation per person is asked to offset upkeep costs.
